He said that there will be no dialogue with the group of terrorists and saboteurs who burn the memorials of martyrs and set the country on fire.
The development came as Khan formed a seven-member team to hold talks with the government - to build a consensus on a general election date - amid a massive crackdown on his party.
The crackdown launched after the May 9 violent protests has plunged the PTI into a deep existential crisis with dozens of key party leaders jumping ship daily.
Key leaders who left the party include Secretary General Asad Umar, senior leader Fawad Chaudhry and former minister Shireen Mazari.
Violent protests erupted after paramilitary Rangers arrested Khan from the premises of the Islamabad High Court on May 9. In response to Khan's arrest, his party workers vandalized a dozen military installations, including the Lahore Corps Commander's House, the Mianwali Airbase and the ISI building in Faisalabad.
The mob also stormed the Army Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi for the first time.
Thousands of Khan's supporters were arrested after the violence, which the powerful military described as a "dark day" in the country's history.
In a statement, Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb said: “Those who attack the state are punished. They are not negotiated." He claimed that Khan's appeal for talks is an appeal under the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO).
When Khan was in power, it was often said that former military ruler Pervez Musharraf had closed criminal cases against leaders of various parties, including the Muslim League-N and the Pakistan People's Party (PPP), through the NRO, but they were "looters". No NRO will be given to

Murree recalled that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the country's foreign minister, tried to bring the political parties to the negotiating table and formed a team of senior leaders to negotiate with the political parties. Imran, however, sabotaged Bilawal's efforts. He said that Khan's arrogance led to his downfall. It is a pity that the former prime minister did not allow PTI to become a political party.
He said that it is pretentious to talk about negotiations after everything has been done.
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) spokesperson Hafiz Hamdullah also termed Khan as the mastermind of the May 9 attacks. He said that targeting military installations is like waging war against the state.
He said that a rebel is not negotiated but he deserves severe punishment.
Hamdullah predicted that Khan Sahib's destination would be jail, saying that now is the time for him to answer for his actions. He further said that Khan's appeal for talks is nothing but a joke.
